Wire cutting, or wire EDM, is one of our core competencies. We use wire cutting to produce diverse cutters, pads, and mold parts quickly and with high dimensional accuracy. Difficult cross-cut shapes that cannot be machined using methods such as milling can often be produced using wire cutting. Wire cutting can be used to machine hardened and hard materials. The advantage is good surface quality, which often eliminates the need for post-grinding.
